Oferta-Communication Strategy and Coordination at Nièvre Numérique - Fundación CV

Nièvre Numérique (a public joint authority in the Burgundy region of France, and Lead Partner in the Interreg IVC Project ENGAGE - High Speed Broadband for Rural Europe) is seeking candidates for the short-term position of communication manager to work on the ENGAGE project in Brussels.The communication manager will manage the Communication Strategy and coordinate support activities relating to the promotion of the ENGAGE Manifesto "High Speed Broadband for Rural Europe".

The contract will be divided into two stages and each stage will last 15-20 days:

• Stage 1: now until the end of January 2014
• Stage 2: February 2014 until the end of the European Elections

The candidate should:

• Have experience and expertise in communication and advocacy actions relating to European Institutions and in the development and execution of communication strategies and actions.
• Have experience and expertise in the organisation of seminars, conferences and workshops.
• Have knowledge and understanding of the working of European Institutions.
• Have fluency in English and proficiency in French (other languages would be a plus).
• Be based in Brussels or within reasonable travelling distance.
• Have understanding of the subject matter of the Manifesto
